Dear Romeo is a card-sending service based in Sydney. You choose a card, write your message and add a photo online, and we print it on Japanese linen paper, wrap it and post it direct to your recipient, anywhere in Australia or New Zealand. Each card is A$25, plus postage.

Every Dear Romeo card includes your message printed on Japanese linen paper, your photo printed as a Fujifilm Instax Square keepsake (62 × 62 mm), a ribbon-tied envelope in our own 350gsm textured stock with an embossed Dear Romeo signature, and our terracotta mailer with your recipient's name on the front.

No. Dear Romeo cards are printed, not handwritten. Your words are printed on Japanese linen paper exactly as you write them, and longer messages are printed as a letter.

Every Dear Romeo card is printed and hand-wrapped by us at the Dear Romeo Mail House in Sydney, then posted with Australia Post.

A Dear Romeo card is A$25, plus postage from A$3. A card posted within Australia costs A$28 with Standard Post, or A$34.50 with tracked Express Post.

Yes. Dear Romeo posts your card direct to your recipient, so there are no envelopes, stamps or post office trips for you. If you'd rather give it in person, choose "Delivering to me": your card arrives in its terracotta mailer with just their name on the front, tucked inside a kraft outer mailer so it reaches you in perfect condition, ready to hand over.

Order before 9am Sydney time on a business day and Dear Romeo posts your card the same day, all year round. Delivery within Australia takes 1–7 business days depending on the postage you choose and where it's going. Express Post takes 1–2 business days to most of Australia.

Within Australia: Standard Post A$3 (untracked), Priority Post A$4 (untracked), Tracked Letter A$5.90 and Express Post A$9.50 (tracked). To New Zealand: Standard Post A$15 (tracked). Full delivery times are in our Shipping Policy.

Yes, if you choose Tracked Letter or Express Post within Australia, or any order to New Zealand. Standard Post and Priority Post are untracked letter services.

Yes. Dear Romeo posts to New Zealand with tracked Standard Post for A$15. Delivery takes 2–7 business days to metro areas, with extra time for rural and regional addresses.

Yes. You can order a Dear Romeo card and pay online from anywhere in the world. Add your recipient's address in Australia or New Zealand and we'll print your card in Sydney and post it direct to them. There's no need to contact us first.

Birthdays, weddings, bridesmaid proposals, engagements, new babies, thank yous, sympathy, Mother's Day, thinking of you, and every moment in between.

Yes. Type your message to your bridesmaid, add a photo of the two of you, and Dear Romeo prints it on Japanese linen paper and posts it direct to her in our terracotta mailer. Or choose "Delivering to me" to hand it over yourself.

Yes. Write your condolence message, add a photo if you'd like, and Dear Romeo prints it on Japanese linen paper and posts it direct to them, anywhere in Australia or New Zealand. You can send one from overseas too.

We print exactly what you write, so please re-read your message and check your photo before checkout.

Because every card is personalised and we post quickly, please email hello@dearromeo.co as soon as possible. Once your card has been printed, it can't be changed or cancelled.

Dear Romeo can't add cash or gifts to your card. If you choose "Delivering to me", your card arrives ready to give in person, so you can tuck something in yourself before you hand it over.

Because every Dear Romeo card is personalised, we can't refund a change of mind. If anything is wrong with your card, we'll make it right, and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply.

Your photo is stored securely with your order and used only by us, to print your card. We never sell it. You can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to hello@dearromeo.co.
